Monday update

See the kind of update you get every Monday.

Each Monday update shows what shipped, what is being tested, what needs a decision, and what risk is still open, so you always know where things stand.

Hi team,

Short update for this week. Two system improvements went live, one AI workflow is ready for staff testing, and two decisions need your approval by Wednesday.

What went live last week

  • Inventory dashboard now shows low-stock items, pending orders, and warehouse exceptions in one place.
  • Customer service view now shows order status, payment status, delivery status, and last support note on one screen.
  • Report export now runs in the background. The page no longer freezes while finance waits for the file.

AI work ready for testing

  • AI order summary is now available for internal staff. It summarises order history, customer notes, payment status, and delivery issue into a short view before staff reply.
  • AI is currently limited to internal staff view only. It does not send messages to customers automatically.

What we are working on this week

  • Staff testing for AI order summary.
  • Cleanup of old order status labels.
  • Preparing delayed shipment report for management.

Decisions we need from you by Wednesday

  • Should AI summary show internal notes to branch managers only, or to customer service too?
  • Should the delayed shipment report be sent daily at 9am, or only every Monday?

Risks and things blocking us

  • Some older orders have missing delivery status. We will flag them separately instead of letting AI guess.
  • WhatsApp reply automation should stay manual approval for now.

Next release target

  • AI order summary live for customer service, pending your Wednesday decision.
  • Delayed shipment report scheduled for next Monday's update.

Written for non-engineers

Every line is plain language. Nothing needs a technical translator.

Decisions have a deadline

What we need from you gets its own section, with a date. No buried asks.

Risks stated plainly

Problems are flagged before they reach you, not explained after.

AI stays behind approval

Nothing customer-facing ships without your yes.

Why Monday

Sent Monday morning, not Friday evening.

Friday pushes the update into your weekend. Monday morning puts it at the start of your working week, when decisions and replies are easy to coordinate. For the same reason, we avoid releasing late on a Friday so problems never land on your weekend.

Readable without translation

Every line is written for non-engineers. We avoid technical jargon unless it is needed.

Decisions first

Decisions we need from you have their own section, with a clear deadline. If we need a yes or no, we say so.

Numbers kept short

We include only the numbers that matter this week. No oversized dashboards.
