- One-off
- Result
- A written recommendation you can act on: on one decision before you commit, or on one system when nobody knows what is wrong.
You are about to commit money, or something is wrong and nobody can say exactly what.
What is in scope
- Decision Review, RM1,000: one decision, such as which proposal to take or whether to fix or replace a system.
- System Review, RM5,000: one system or workflow problem, investigated in the code, logs, data or the way staff actually work.
- Talking it through with the people who decide, use and run the system.
- A written recommendation and a walkthrough: what we found, what we would do first, why, and the risks.
What you bring
- The decision or the problem, and when you need an answer.
- The proposals and documents behind it.
- For a System Review: access to the system, code and logs, and time with the staff who use it.
- The person who decides what happens next.
Not included
- Checking code or logging in to systems on a Decision Review. That needs a System Review.
- Fixing the problem. That is quoted separately, and you can use anyone to do it.
- An audit of every system in the company.
- Security certification, penetration testing or legal review of contracts.
Price and terms
Decision Review RM1,000; System Review RM5,000. Paid before we start. A System Review is delivered within 10 business days of having the access and interviews it needs. Prices exclude SST.
How it starts
- 1.
Tell us what needs answering
The decision in front of you, or what is going wrong and what it is costing.
- 2.
We agree the size
If documents and a conversation are enough, it is a Decision Review. If the answer is inside the system, it is a System Review. We say which before you pay.
- 3.
Review and recommendation
We read, investigate where needed and talk it through with you, and you get the recommendation in writing.
Questions about Review
If the answer is in the proposals and documents, a Decision Review. If it depends on what is inside the code, the data or the way staff work, a System Review. We tell you which before you pay.
Not always. If the code, the servers and the problem are clear, we go straight to work. We only suggest a review when quoting blind would be unfair to you.
It tells you what to fix first and why. If what we find is clear enough, we can quote the next step. If it isn’t, the report says what is still missing.
No. The review stands on its own, and its answer might be not to hire us at all.
Tell us what isn’t working.
A few lines is enough: the system, what’s going wrong and what it’s costing you. We’ll reply with where we would start.
